Attorney Dennis J. Kokenos joined the firm in 2007. Prior to that time, Attorney Kokenos was an attorney with the law firm of Trantolo & Trantolo in Hartford, Connecticut, before returning to the Greater Bridgeport area to establish his own practice. Resident in the Trumbull office, Attorney Kokenos concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, administrative appeals, real estate, personal injury law, trusts & estates, probate and collections.
Attorney Kokenos graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2002, with a B.S. in Finance. Attorney Kokenos then went on to attend the Southern New England School of Law. While in law school, Attorney Kokenos was a member of the International Moot Court Team in 2004 and 2005. In addition, Attorney Kokenos served as a clerk to both the Massachusetts Court of Appeals in 2004 and a clerk to the Connecticut Superior Court in 2003. While in law school, Attorney Kokenos authored "The Dual Purpose of the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004," published in the Berkeley Electronic Press later that same year. Attorney Kokenos finished 9th in his graduating law school class in 2005. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar later that year.
Fluent in Greek, Attorney Kokenos is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Bridgeport Bar Association and American Bar Association. Attorney Kokenos served as the Co-Chair of the Probate, Elder Law & Trusts & Estates Committee in 2006.
Attorney Kokenos is an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
